Legal Tech SA established different branches that are each focused in different sphere of the same LegalTech ecosystem. We have:  Academy division; Innovation Lab Division; and Online Shop Division.

 About Legal Tech Academy SA

We are in the process of getting accredited for offering National Certificate: Information Technology: End User Computing. This is the first course that we will be offering, once we get all the necessary accreditation,
we will keep adding other Information Technology and Legal related courses, as we grow the academy.

We ought to create multicultural academic groups, which would assist students with soft skills. Encourage project based learning, which will encourage independence and control to the students. We will collaborate with legal professionals; business professionals; accelerators; law schools; legal clinics and Information Technology companies. Strategic partnership with Law Firms, IT companies and the government bodies will ensure the relevance of our curriculum.

 About Legal Tech Lab SA

We want to fast track the next generation of start-up’s that will change the way legal services are delivered and accessed. We will constantly be looking for innovative technopreneurs who are passionate about changing the way legal services are delivered and accessed with in our Government Institutions, Justice Systems and Law Firms.

We connect the technopreneurs with valuable partners and mentors through formal Conferences, Legally Cracked Competition and our social setting, One Legal Drink Only Event.In our network sessions we invite legal technology entrepreneurs,law firms, and court administrators, angel investors who are committed in investing in early stage tech products. We also invite legal professionals and coaching experts to refine your pitch and deepen your legal service eco system understanding. By understating what problems in the legal system need to be solved, there will be praiseworthy legaltech solutions.

The objective of this competition is to increase access to legal services, so innovative individuals/students/companies are encouraged in each instance to put the cost and efficiency as the priority in all their designs.

You should apply if ….

> Your tech tool aims to impact legal or regulatory practices .

> You have or you will have a minimum viable tech tool by the middle of June 2021.

> You had couple of users test your tool and provide feed back, and you are looking to expand your access to the market. 

> You are committed to building collaborative relationships and increasing your knowledge and skills.

  About Legal Online Shop we sell services and merchandise  for fund raising. We realized that waiting for donations will stall our goals. We hope that with the academy and the online shop we will raise enough funds to keep our projects running.
